What is a Session?
We’re Emma & Erik, the people behind SDS. We love to share food and bring people together. We’re proud of having built a community with thousands of savvy foodies, and we want to bridge the gap between them and your restaurant in more ways than just through social media.
That’s why we’re starting SDS Sessions. Periodical group dinners hosted by us at the restaurants we love, which if you are reading this, means yours ❤️ During these intimate & curated events you will have the chance to showcase your individual cuisine and history and for our guests to learn more about a certain food culture.
What You can expect from us
With you all the way from Concept to Execution
We are present every step of the way: from choosing and finalizing date and theme or menu of an event, to being there on the day to help host the guests. Staying always in touch regarding any possible issue that may come up.
Bookings & Guest Management
We deal with everything around the guests until they show up at your table: from confirming number of attendees to dealing with dietary requirements. When it comes to payment, we can discuss preferred solutions and agree on the best approach.
Social Media Marketing
From spreading the news to sharing pictures from the event itself, we’ll use our platform to reach the whole community, helping to bring visibility to your business and for future events.

Tailor the concept
Each Session is a bespoke set menu, based on what you think makes the perfect meal to represent your food culture and business. Got something outside of the regular menu that you’ve been wanting to try that represents your story? Any seasonal celebration in your culture we could highlight? Regional variations rarely seen around here? This is the perfect time!
Decide on the price
Ideally the menu presents something exclusive to our event. We ask that you decide what cost is reasonable. We can come with recommendations for price-points that will bring the most people, but it is ultimately your decision what to charge for the meal. We also ask that you decide if things like drinks should be included in the package or sold separately at the event.

Our community loves to learn about the stories behind the food and the people that make it. We’d love to share a bit about the dishes and how they connect to your personal journey.
